Interactive art display for Page Robbins

June 15, 2016

I am the Art Coordinator at Page Robbins Adult Day Center. My job brings me SO MUCH JOY and satisfaction! Most of my students have dementia or Alzheimer's and as a tribute to them and their amazing art, I built a head shelf.  I created the shelving to look like a brain on purpose. I wanted this shelf to be an interactive experience for the general public as they shopped for the artwork that would be displayed on those shelves.  Just like their treasured memories, the artwork would be there one minute and the next minute gone.

We hosted an art auction to highlight the work of my amazing students and the final display was absolutely stunning! I loved getting to create a project for our amazing clients!
